Dusseldorf is located in the west part of Germany. This small and cute city is a very good location to visit for a weekend trip. If you are planing to visit Dusseldorf here are my recommendations for you. Lets check What To See In Dusseldorf.
What To See In Dusseldorf
There is no doubt that Königsalle is at the top of the must-see places in Dusseldorf. This area is very popular with its small canal, covered with big trees. Added to that there are so many luxury brand shops in the district; such as Gucci, Armani, Hermes and etc. It s located at the city center that you can reach there from other parts of the city by using trams.
Hofgarten is a big park which is very close to Königsalle. It has a small lake, different types of birds and huge green areas. If you want to relax and have a rest, this park would be a good alternative for you.
This small market is just walking away from Königsallee ve Benrather Strasse metro station. If you are interested in meat and cheese Carlsplatz Market would be a right place for you 🙂
Very cool shop with a pink giraffe. The shop sells vintage and crazy designed stuff. Although the shop is not very cheap, I beleive you find something within your budget. The shop is located at Wallstrasse 33.
This is one of the popular streets in Dusseldorf. There are many pubs, restaurants shops. If you are looking for a place to drink beer and eat something you can jump to Bolkerstrasse.
It is at the end of Bolkerstrasse. It is a small but very cute sqaure. You can find a sit there and enjoy your beer while watching the people around.
If you want to see the Rhine river and to walk throughout the river I would recommend you to go to Rheinuferpromenade, which is very close to Marktplatz Square. This district is always very friendly and crowded.
